Inter Milan defender Cristian Chivu has denied he is interested in a move to the club's bitter rivals AC Milan.
A number of recent reports suggested the Romanian left-back was in talks with the Serie A champions about a free transfer at the end of the season, but Chivu said there is no truth in the rumours.
"That was just something the media concocted, and by no coincidence it was right before the derby. That was wrong and totally untrue," Chivu told Inter Channel.
"Nobody spoke to the club, to me or anyone else about that. And it's not going to happen. It's all made up and I'm not even interested."
Chivu, whose current deal expires at the end of the season, plans to open contract talks with Inter next month.
"My agent and the club have decided they will discuss it in February," he said.
