Pirlo talks up Nesta to Juve
Juventus midfielder Andrea Pirlo says he has been in touch with AC Milan defender Alessandro Nesta about a possible move to Turin.
Media reports have claimed veteran centre-back Nesta would be open to joining Juve at the end of the 2011/12 campaign.
According to Pirlo, the two men have already spoken about Nesta potentially following his former team-mate to Juventus Stadium.
"Nesta to Juve next year? We have indeed discussed this option," Pirlo told Sky Italia.
"However, in the end this is something personal. He already plays at a great team. We'll see what he decides at the end of the season."
Nesta's contract with Milan expires at the end of the season and it remains to be seen if he will extend his stay at the club.
Pirlo swapped Milan for Juve at the end of last term and has played an important role in his new team's title challenge this season.
