Orlando Pirates forward Rudolf Bester's brace helped Namibia to a 4-0 belting of Djibouti, while Togo were held to a 1-1 draw at Guinea-Bissau.

Congo DR were 3-1 victors at Swaziland, Nurdin Bakari struck the winner in Tanzania's 2-1 victory at Chad and Spanish-born midfielder Juvenal hit a brace to see Equatorial Guinea to a 2-0 win at home to Madagascar.
